A tour of "OLD" Fox High School and "NEW" Fox High School was conducted by Rich Simpson. It was like stepping into a  time tunnel, entering in the "50's" and exiting in the "Future". While the Fox High School building that we all attended is still there, which is now the Fox Middle School, it has new paint, desk and been upgraded BUT under all the "NEW" decor you can still see the Fox we remembered. Sacred Senior Steps that no one but seniors were allowed to sit on are now just steps but to those on the tour they are still "SENIOR STEP" and not senior as in our age J  Also the exterior has a different look, entrances changed, driveways now paved/rerouted and doors "LOCKED" and security systems activated showing how times have changed.

Leaving "OUR" Fox High School we then toured "NEW" Fox High School, a modern faculty is all respects. As a note there are now two (2) Fox High Schools to accommodate the number of students graduating each year, about 400 students from each high school or 800 total. Remember the class of 1959 graduated 58 students and the class of 1960 graduated 88. The C-6 school district now has about 11,000 students.

We then moved on to the Rickman Auditorium where Rich Simpson gave us a very informative update on the past 50 years of the C-6 school district. Notice I said "Auditorium" not the stage in the old gym, this is a full function facility with stadium seating, lighting and communications. From there we left the Fox Campus and went to the Fox Service Center which is the receiving and distribution center for the district. This is an enormous building which is size is comparable to a Wal-Mart of K-Mart building and is jam packed with supplies, paper, computers, desk, shelving and anything else need to support a large school district.
